CUNST is a portrait of art, created by careful observation of all artistic production. From the first traces of charcoal on the wall at Lascaux to the Vengaboys, the portrayed model reviewed the result and asked for the white cube that has been decontextualising it since 1929 to be removed. Sittings were held on Tuesdays.
CUNST is written CUNST: five capital letters in every sentence, at the beginning, in the middle and at the end. Font, colour and size change from case to case, and the letters for the most part keep the same order. Signs are determined by convention and read from left to right, except when someone is standing on their head.
The first exhibition took place as part of the Kunstraumfestival Lindenow XX at Georg-Schwarz-Straße 18a, 04177 Leipzig. The vernissage began on 2 October at 7 pm with a piano improvisation by Julio Quiroz. Love Square, normally a dignified venue, turned into a dissolute salon.
The exhibition consisted of two screens and a projection, a menu, a chair, a table, a sign at the entrance, alienated objects, animations and videos. Postcards and stickers circulated with a great deal of goodwill and very little supervision.
On 3 October CUNST was honoured by the esteemed presence of the members of the music group DUNG, led by Kay Woitzig, who for the occasion reached into his collection of interactions with objects in space. The musicians of his project, onno vento on saxophone, Patrick Schönfeld on double bass and Robert Griese on guitar, accompanied him under the influence of CUNST. They were joined by one especially special guest, Laura Schwind on piano, who, like Patrick, found her instrument in the exhibition's inventory.
The exhibition thanks the band DUNG for an evening against which every following one will be measured. It also thanks Kros Di Bo’dah, owner of Love Square, for the space provided and for his hospitality. It thanks Julio Quiroz for the music at the opening. Finally, it thanks all visitors, who left their attention with the menu and took a sticker home.

CUNST ist ein Porträt der Kunst, entstanden durch sorgfältige Beobachtung des gesamten künstlerischen Schaffens. Von den ersten Kohlespuren an der Wand von Lascaux bis zu den Vengaboys hat das porträtierte Modell das Ergebnis geprüft und darum gebeten, den White Cube zu entfernen, der es seit 1929 dekontextualisiert. Die Sitzungen fanden dienstags statt.
CUNST wird CUNST geschrieben: fünf Großbuchstaben in jedem Satz, am Anfang, in der Mitte und am Ende. Schrift, Farbe und Größe wechseln von Fall zu Fall, die Buchstaben behalten dabei überwiegend ihre Reihenfolge. Die Zeichen sind durch Konvention bestimmt und werden von links nach rechts gelesen, außer wenn jemand auf dem Kopf steht.
Die erste Ausstellung fand im Rahmen des Kunstraumfestivals Lindenow XX in der Georg-Schwarz-Straße 18a, 04177 Leipzig statt. Die Vernissage begann am 2. Oktober um 19 Uhr mit einer Klavierimprovisation von Julio Quiroz. Der Love Square, sonst ein würdevolles Lokal, verwandelte sich in einen ausschweifenden Salon.
Die Ausstellung bestand aus zwei Bildschirmen und einer Projektion, einem Menü, einem Stuhl, einem Tisch, einem Schild am Eingang, entfremdeten Gegenständen, Animationen und Videos. Postkarten und Aufkleber zirkulierten mit viel gutem Willen und sehr wenig Aufsicht.
Am 3. Oktober beehrten die Mitglieder der Musikgruppe DUNG unter der Leitung von Kay Woitzig CUNST mit ihrer geschätzten Anwesenheit. Kay Woitzig griff für diesen Anlass in seine Sammlung von Interaktionen mit Gegenständen im Raum. Die Musiker seines Projekts, onno vento am Saxophon, Patrick Schönfeld am Kontrabass und Robert Griese an der Gitarre, begleiteten ihn unter dem Einfluss von CUNST. Ihnen schloss sich ein ausgesprochen besonderer Gast an, Laura Schwind am Klavier, die ihr Instrument, wie auch Patrick, im Inventar der Ausstellung fand.
Die Ausstellung dankt der Band DUNG für einen Abend, an dem sich jeder weitere messen lassen muss. Ebenso dankt sie Kros Di Bo’dah, dem Inhaber des Love Square, für den überlassenen Raum und die Gastfreundschaft. Julio Quiroz dankt sie für die Musik zur Eröffnung. Schließlich dankt sie allen Besuchern, die ihre Aufmerksamkeit beim Menü ließen und einen Aufkleber mit nach Hause nahmen.

CUNST je portret umjetnosti, nastao pažljivim promatranjem sveukupnog umjetničkog stvaralaštva. Od prvih tragova ugljena na zidu Lascauxa do Vengaboysa, portretirani model pregledao je rezultat i zamolio da mu se ukloni white cube koji ga dekontekstualizira od 1929. Sjedenja su održavana utorkom.
CUNST se piše CUNST: pet velikih slova u svakoj rečenici, na početku, u sredini i na kraju. Font, boja i veličina mijenjaju se od slučaja do slučaja, a slova uglavnom zadržavaju isti redoslijed. Znakovi su određeni konvencijom i čitaju se slijeva nadesno, osim kad netko dubi na glavi.
Prva izložba održala se u sklopu Kunstraumfestivala Lindenow XX na adresi Georg-Schwarz-Straße 18a, 04177 Leipzig. Vernissage je započeo 2.10. u 19 sati improvizacijom na klaviru Julia Quiroza. Love Square, inače dostojanstven lokal, pretvorio se u raskalašeni salon.

Glazbenici njegova projekta, onno vento na saksofonu, Patrick Schönfeld na kontrabasu i Robert Griese na gitari, pratili su ga pod utjecajem CUNST-a. Pridružila im se i jedna izrazito posebna gošća, Laura Schwind na klaviru, koja je svoj instrument, kao i Patrick, pronašla u inventaru izložbe.
Izložba zahvaljuje bendu DUNG na večeri prema kojoj će se mjeriti svaka sljedeća. Također zahvaljuje Krosu Di Bo’dah, vlasniku lokala Love Square, na ustupljenom prostoru i gostoprimstvu. Juliu Quirozu zahvaljuje za glazbu na otvorenju. Naposljetku zahvaljuje svim posjetiteljima, koji su svoju pažnju ostavili izborniku, a kući odnijeli naljepnicu.
